Amelia Island 2010

Billy has been with Wells Real Estate for a little over three years. His awesome company takes an annual trip to the Ritz Carlton Amelia Island every December. This is one of the best trips I have been on. You know a beach trip is not a vacation after you have children. This all adult 5 day stay at the beach is just what I needed this time of year.

This is the view from our room. The view doesn't get much better than a larger than life Christmas tree with a backdrop of the beach.

Billy and I goofing off on the beach

While trying out my new camera, I caught this picture. It is amzing
how much you can appreciate God's work when you have the
chance to slow down and take it all in.
While we were there, Billy and I joined some of his coworkers and their wives to go skeet shooting. I had never even held a gun before. I won't lie...I was a little nervous. By the end of the day, I was proud of myself for trying something new.
It was a lot of fun!!!

One of the guest speakers of the week was Coach Bill Curry current head football coach at Georgia State University). He was a fanominal
speaker and we had a great time.

Billy and I at dinner. I believe this was Switzerland night. Every night had a different European destination theme. The food
was amazing and the atmosphere was awesome too.

The courtyard at the Ritz

Melissa and I attended High Tea at The Ritz. The desserts were great! They had one of their chefs do a demonstration to show us how to make a few of their goodies.

Me and my hubby. We are "Beach People".

Melissa and I pose with Santa, after dinner, at The Crab Trap.

Melissa and I in the game room "Wells Central Station", before taking on Ryan and Billy in a game of Wii bowling. We killed them by the way!!!

Lights of Life

In celebration of the season, the Pichons and the Hardins traveled down to Life University to see their Christmas Lights of Life. It had been years since my parents had taken me to see the lights. I wanted the boys to have the same memories of these lights as I did as a kid. The boys loved them!

We could not go looking at Christmas lights without stopping by the Krispy Kreme. The "Hot Light" was on you know.

Photo Shoot with Mommy...

As an early Christmas present, Billy bought me a new Nikon camera. The camera is amazing!!! I wanted to practice with it a little so the boys and I went on a little photo shoot in Canton. By the end, the boys and I were both pretty worn out and frustrated but we did get a few really good shots. I hope you enjoy looking at some of them.

A Visit With Santa

The day before Thanksgiving we decided to beat the crowd and go to Towne Center Mall to see Santa. I really thought that the boys would be hesitant to sit up there and actually have a conversation with the big guy in red. Boy was I wrong! They both hopped right up there and before Santa could even ask Logan what he would like to have for Christmas, he blurted out "I want Larry Boy!" (Vegetales Character)They both were very excited to tell Santa all about what they wanted for Christmas. The pictures turned out good and I was pleased with the whole experience, especially the short line.

Will's last soccer game...

Saturday, November 13th, was Will's last soccer game of the season. He has had such a good season and has had a lot of fun with his new friends. Will played very good and scored a goal.

Trick-or-Treating with Woody & Buzz

This year's Trick-or-Treating adventure had to be the best one yet. The afternoon started with a community block party that was sponsored by one of the local churches. They had hotdogs, lemonade, bounce houses and games for the kids. The Griffins joined us for a night of fun and the kids all had a blast! After that we set out to get as much candy as possible and boy did we rake in the treats. The boys buckets were so heavy that by the end they couldn't even carry them anymore.
Here is Maddie (Fancy Nancy), Will (Woody the Cowboy), Sophia "Soso" (Tinkerbell), and Logan (Buzz Lightyear).

Buzz and Woody have a great time at the River Green Block Party!!!

Woody enjoys his hotdog and Cheetos before a night of sweet treats.
I have to have the silliest boys ever. We never seem to
be able to take a good picture.

Maddie and Soso join in the group photo. I nearly got beaten to
death by Tinkerbell's wings!!!
Buzz is careful to look both ways before crossing the street with Mommy.

Will and Maddie go hand in hand down the sidewalk to our next stop.

Logan takes Soso for a drag to the next candy stop.

Maddie did so good keeping up with her Fancy high heels on.

This is one of my most favorite pictures of the night.
Soso never stops smiling!!!

Will is all smiles as he collects more and more candy.

By the end of the night all of our little trick-or-treaters were worn out!!!

calling an end to Trick-or-Treat 2010.
